How Babbasa supported Mo: Enterprise Start up support

BYEP Stakeholders Reception 2015

“I grew up in Somalia and moved to the UK when I was 13 to seek refuge from civil war. I always wanted to be a businessman; even at the age of 13 I was selling sweets in school making £100 a week.

At the age of 14, I was buying and selling goods from China, and at 16, I registered my first limited company in the UK. Babbasa recognised my talent and helped me to secured a £3000 grant to start up my enterprise idea which Im working on now. They also supported me with my university application to the University of York, which was successful and currently study now!”
